At Children’s Hospital Central California our mission is to provide patients with the best care possible in a child-friendly environment. By supporting the following needs you offer comfort to our children and help them heal. Consider funding one or more of the needs listed below. You will play a crucial role in providing quality care for kids in the Central Valley.

Baby Essentials -- Diapers, Wipes and Circus Animal Band-Aids ($100)

During the emotional twists and turns of their baby’s hospital stay, parents truly appreciate the little things. Your simple act of providing our tiniest patients with daily necessities and a colorful way to cover needle-sticks quietly demonstrates compassionate care.

Specialty Hippo Infant Car Seat ($250)

Family-Centered Care -- Spiritual Support, Interpreter Services and Child Life ($500)

Spiritual Support makes more than 5000 visits with families every year at Children’s. Our Interpreter Services encounter approximately 30 to 40 different languages and provide over 135,000 interpretations annually. Our Child Life specialists engage young children in medical play and allow older children and young adults to handle real equipment to help them gain understanding about their diagnoses, tests and procedures. Your support of these critical, yet unfunded, programs helps patients and their families cope with many of the challenges of hospitalization. 

Childhood Cancer Survivorship Endowment ($1000)

Fifty years ago a fraction of children diagnosed with cancer lived to see their next birthday. Today however, kids with cancer have a remarkable 85 percent survival rate. As these survivors grow into adulthood, we are learning more about the potential physical, emotional and other long-term effects of their cancer treatments. Children's Hospital created our Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program to provide survivors the support, treatment and education they need to reach their full potential. Your gift will grow a very special endowment established to benefit this valuable program in perpetuity. By funding this need you directly support the specialized, high-quality care that enables childhood cancer survivors to live healthier, happier lives. 

Children's Miracle Maker ($2,500)

Children’s Hospital Central California Foundation works to raise millions of dollars every year in unrestricted donations that can be applied where the need is greatest. This annual giving program pools donor resources into a fund named in honor of the generous contributors who invest in it. As a Children’s Miracle Maker, you help bridge the gap between possibilities and achievements by providing ongoing funds kids can count on. Your gift ensures our patients receive essential treatment and gain access to the highest levels of pediatric care.
