Touring Children's Hospital

Tours of Children’s Hospital are restricted and conducted only for the purposes of increasing awareness of our services, supporting recruitment and fundraising efforts, and strengthening community relationships.

Participation
Tour groups are limited in size to 30 participants.

Availability
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tours are not available on holidays or weekends or during RSV season (typically October through April).

Tour Cost

There is no fee to tour our hospital but donations are always welcomed.   Boxed lunches may be purchased through the cafe in advance and made available at the end of the tour or groups may go through the cafe line at their leisure.

Tour Guidelines

  • Tours are led by trained volunteer tour guides and identified hospital employees.
  • Please arrive approximately five minutes prior to your tour time. This allows for bathroom breaks and group organization prior to the start of the tour.
  • Please notify us if you are running late. A late arrival may result in a shortened tour due to the number of other groups scheduled to tour the Hospital.
  • All tour participants will be provided and must be familiar with the Visitor's Guide to Patient Privacy brochure prior to the start of the tour.
  • All tour participants must be screened for good health upon arrival.
  • All tour participants will receive and must  read and sign the Confidentiality Agreement, to be submitted to the tour guide(s) at the start of the tour.
  • Due to patient privacy regulations, flash photography, cell phone usage and video recording will not be permitted in patient care areas, unless prior arrangements have been made.

How to Schedule?

  • Tour requests must be submitted at least three weeks in advance to allow for  scheduling consideration. 
  • You will receive confirmation that your request has been received within 72 hours of submission. 
  • Submission of a tour request does not guarantee a tour.
