Radiothon has been an integral part of the fundraising efforts of the Children’s Miracle Network alliance of hospitals since 1997. Radiothons are a cooperative effort among Children's Miracle Network hospitals, community-minded radio stations, and volunteers. Broadcasting stories of medical miracles, straight from the people who experienced them, Radiothon has touched the heart of communities all across the world. That’s what Radiothon is all about: coming together to give.
August 17-19, 2012, Radio Lobo 98.7 and MAGIA 106.3 FM in Merced held a Radiothon to raise money for Children’s Hospital Central California. After boradcasting live for more than 30 hours and putting on numerous remotes, Radio Lobo and Magia raised more than $50,000 to support Children's. Thank you to all of our Miracle Makers who called in and donated!
KISS Country, 93.7 FM holds their annual Radiothon to benefit the children and families served at Children's Hospital. Listeners are encouraged to call in donations and make a personal financial pledge. In 2012, Radiothon and Change Bandits rasied more than $206,000.
